If you want to use a color-filter anyway, a dark yellow, orange,
or red filter on the lens will give you effectively a monochrome
view in the finder. If you do use a filter, be sure to check the
meter reading without and with the filter (of an evenly illuminated
grey surface) against the predicted exposure using the filter factor,
since most camera TTL meters read strong colors innaccurately...
