I have not used the "blue-box" PR Sony tape yet, but
I think it is only a packaging change... I've had no
problems mixing PR and EX Sony tape (within the types
I and II), though I do still wonder about a
(possibly-coincidental) problem I had when I switched
from type I to type II Sony tapes a while back (though
I have seen little or no problem since when playing
type I tapes). Bottom line: don't worry about it...;-)
