Possibly...
It is hard to get hard information on this, but enough
of us have experienced problems when mixing brands
to play it safe... (it's a problem with lubricant incompatibility,
supposedly...). Hey, do us all a favor and use Sony for
a while, then switch to Panasonic for a while, then switch
back to Sony, etc. - then report to us on your dropout rate
experience...;-)
