If you are trying to play the edited video directly
off the timeline, good luck! Make AVI's of the edited
work, and use a program that can play a string of AVI's
seamlessly out to the camcorder. If this is what you
are doing, then you may have set the capture/play
audio interleave numbers wrong - experiment with
the numbers when recording to and playing from the
computer a 2-gig file until it returns to the
camcorder properly (hopefully, you set the right
record number when capturing your original material).
It is a good idea, before attempting editing, to make
sure you can successfully transfer a 2-gig file from
the camcorder to the computer, import it into your
editing program, export it from the editing program
as a new AVI, and send it back to tape in the camcorder.
If you did this too, you may have a hard-drive
problem. Try defragmenting the drive (and don't use
the program drive for video capture/play - just
storage while editing...).
