I have not played with this lens much (the zoom range is too
limited, and I prefer a 35mm f2 AIS and 85mm f2 pair for
their better wide-stop performance) - the zoom range is too
limited to be interesting, and it is not really a speed lens.
Performance is excellent for a zoom (but a good-sample f3.5
35-70 AIS or E 36-72 can be about as good... [I don't like
AF...]), but I can't figure out why anyone would want this
lens...;-) As I recall, it is not IF, and the front rotates
when focused, but this could be wrong... (For me, changing
lenses is not that hard - and I prefer having two or three
fast/compact/sharp lenses to one bulky/hard-to-focus/too-slow/
so-so-at-"wide"-stops zoom...! Jes' call me ol'-fashioned...!;-)
