Alas, we are still in the bad old days when it comes to metering
through filters. The color error of current meters (old selenium cells
were better at this) is poor. When using a dark yellow, open up 1/2
stop from the camera reading - with orange, 1 stop - with red, 1 1/2
stops. Even the light type is important - I open 1/2 stop from the
camera reading in tungsten light because of the color error of the meter. Sorry!
