A bad tripod is worse than annoying... I
buy the cheapest Sony only to get the remote
(I remove it, and part with the tripod...).
The cheapest Sony tripod is TERRIBLE!
Buy the M-L for $190, the Bogen 3021 +
3063, or a good monopod, but unless you
don't plan on panning or tilting smoothly
with the camera mounted on the tripod, don't
buy lesser tripods ("really-good" tripods
start around $1500, and go up quickly from
there...).
