Most of the time, a loosening bayonette ring can be tightened by tightening the small screws on the face of the ring. I would do
this IMMEDIATELY, since a loose screw can drop out when the lens is mounted, and drop into a screw head depression in the camera plate,
jamming the lens on the camera as you try to remove the lens. If
this happens, point the lens downward while gently turning the lens
back and forth over the free range, while tapping the lens near the bayonette. If you are lucky, the screw will drop back into its hole,
allowing the lens to be removed.
