Lines of resolution (on tape, or at camera output),
is different from format maximum resolution, and from
format image size in pixels. 380 (horizontal) lines
places resolution at a level somewhat lower than for
the best Hi-8, but well above VHS-level - but that
figure is not defined. I assume it would be at camera
output (and so likely less on tape), and probably
a maximum, so lower at wide stops and at image edges...
In other words, it may be useful for comparison
purposes with similar cameras, but has little use as
an "absolute" measure...
