AIS is not of concern, but AI is! If the rear edge of the aperture is
not smooth (has ridges), the lens is AI or AI'd and OK to use on the EM.
The ridge contacts a tab on the body for mechanical meter coupling.

No, since the EM is auto only (if you adjust the aperture, the camera
will adjust the shutter speed to keep the exposure constant). To
make the exposures lighter, use a lower film speed setting (as in,
with ASA 400, set 320 or 250 on the film speed dial - though, if you
are shooting color negative, also request lighter prints from the lab).
