All Nikkors except non-AI (and mirror-up fisheyes and the 21mm non-retrofocus) Nikkors (but including AI'd Nikkors) will fit on
AF bodies, and A L L SLR lenses ever made by Nikon will fit on
the Nikon F body, and work just fine (with stop-down metering on
AF, E, and P lenses, and the one AIS made without the coupling
pin). Neat, huh?
