Any lens ever made for the Nikon SLR will fit (!!! ;-) and work fine,
but without adding the little clip to the aperture ring at f5.6,
lenses missing it will not meter correctly. Also, if you have the
non-TTL version of the Photomic, the broad metering angle may
be inappropriate with the longer lenses (the small meter extension
tube that came with the camera may solve this problem well enough).
BTW, all current AIS lenses (except one) still have the meter prong
on them, so they will still meter couple with your nice antique...
Also, if you use a hand-held meter, all is still well with any
Nikon-mount lens, with or without the prong...
