I used to own an 18mm f3.5, which was excellent, but the 20mm f2.8
Nikkor is better optically, far cheaper, considerably smaller, and
the angle-of-view is virtually the same with both lenses (don't go
by the specs - focus both at infinity, and compare them on the same
body.....). If I didn't have a 15mm (which is VERY noticeably wider
than the 18mm), I would probably have stayed with the 18mm for its
slightly wider angle of view. I bought a 20mm f2.8, and the 18mm
was sold soon after.
