Non-AI, AI'd, AI, and AIS lenses will all work fine with your
F2 meter (they all have the prong). AF, E, P, etc. will all
fit, and can meter with stop-down metering (or the prong
can be added for about $30). Quality of most Nikkors is
high, regardless of age (avoid the infamous 43-86mm zoom,
but virtually all other Nikkors are at least good, even
the cheapest).
