The AIS 55mm f2.8 Micro Nikkor is alive, well, and available new.
The 60mm f2.8 AF is also useable, though stop-down metering would
be necessary unless you have the coupling pin installed at f5.6
on the aperture ring (an easy and inexpensive operation). The
55mm is a much better performer at most apertures near infinity,
but the 60mm goes to 1:1 without additional tubes, and is a better
performer near minimum focus than the 55mm. The 60mm, maybe with
the addition of the TC201 (stop-down metering only) would be my
choice for jewelry photography (though I would consider the 105mm
macro, also).
