I'm with David Rosen - a 35mm f2 would be about the most useful
all-around lens, especially if interiors are common... The 60mm
is a really superb macro, but at wider apertures, corner performance
near infinity focus is noticeably inferior to almost any Nikkor 50mm
of any age. The 85mm f1.8 AF is excellent. The 50mm AF is the same
good optical design as the (nicer feeling) AIS version. The 50mm f1.8
AF is a fine lens at a low price, and about equal in performance to
the 50mm f1.4.
