Canon makes 77mm achromats, though you can use 72mm
achromats with a step-down ring without vignetting
(probably 67mm also, if you can find them...). You
can add a 1.4X or 2X converter to the 105 with good
results if you stop down to around f8-11. This will
increase the working distance for a given magnification,
and will increase the maximum possible magnification,
with very little image quality loss (assuming you
use Nikkor converters...;-).
