Uh..., that must be SOUTHERN california, huh? We New Yorkers are
stuck with 80-120% humidity in the summer (worse in Southeastern US!),
and about minus 20-30% in the winter - it's either fog and late afternoon showers in the darkroom in the summer, or static electricity and lightning bolts in the cameras as the film advances in the winter
(assuming the cold, dry film advances at all instead of just breaking).
