And some, like me, who don't see any difference, once a
comfortable grip is found on the upright types. I can hold
the PC-1 steady without the stabilizer on by holding it
with fingers wrapped around the front except for finger on
zoom control and thumb on release - and the other hand
steadying the camera with fingers at top and bottom edges
of the body of the camera (or of the fold out screen, if
it is being used).
