The problem is: there is no definitive information
on this, but there continues to be reporting of problems...
Latest theory: if you mix brands regularly (difficult
to know if you are really doing this, since there are
only a few manufacturers supplying all the tape), or
never, and avoid mixing the one Panasonic tape with blue
door and white case with anything else, you are OK...
(take from that what you can, but I prefer following
the "do not mix tape brands" part, for safety...).
