Hmmm, not enough info to reliably TRY to answer that one...;-)
For me (bottom end budget, but a hankerin' fer da gud stuff...),
I like compact camcorders for what I do, and I like the idea
of lossless editing. And I like the idea of having two camcorders
(for back-up, 2-camera shooting, lossless tape copying, something
that can be left much of the time with the editing system to act
as a DV "translator" without inhibiting my ability to go shoot).
So, with a budget stretch here and there, I wound up with two
VX-1000's and a home-brew Spark-based computer DV editing system.
Quality is very good, the gear is compact, the price was moderate
(well, compared with the top-end gear, certainly...;-). While I am
aware of the system's shortcomings, the output is so much better
than inexpensive Hi-8 with analogue-editing that I am very happy
with it. Your mileage may vary - a lot! ;-)
