Hmmmmm............;-)
I would expect guidance as to type/level of gear/supplies
that would be considered appropriate for the course level,
but specific brands/models???! ;-) Remember that many
college-level departments select gear by "specials" offered
by companies (intended to "train" students in their future
selections...;-) (Mac and Canon [still-gear, at least]
both do this, skewing the selection away from simple
"best" to "best-buy" [often half-price, or less, on these
deals...]). As a result, what I often see locally in the
colleges is the selection of the least appropriate gear
for the purposes intended...;-)
