"Full-size" is one of those "fun" terms invented by
advertisers to turn a fault (excessive bulk) into
an "advantage"...;-), and, if your boss knew how
relatively low the image quality was (and how
hopeless is the possibility of making an acceptable
tape copy) from this "convenient" camcorder format,
she might be willing to let a three (color-coded)
connector wire dangle out front, ready to plug into
a better, smaller Hi-8 or DV camcorder (maybe even
one with a "docking" station that requires only
placing the camera on it to make the connections...).
In addition to saving space while storing and
transporting that "full-size" camera, think of the
shelf space saved by using the (much) smaller
tapes! ;-)
