You may find my Nikkor evaluation list useful - it lists ALL
optical types made for the SLR Nikons (with the possible exception
of some relatively uninteresting recent slow AF zooms....;-).
I may soon try out the non-reflex Nikkor 8mm f8 (it was the very
first full-circle 180 degree lens made for 35mm, though Nikon
earlier made a version for a special medium-format camera, and the
"Hill Cloud Lens" dates W-A-Y back...). Nikon has made 6 different
full-circle fisheye lenses for the 35mm camera. Sigma made one
8mm which is quite good, but not quite 180 degrees when stopped
down. Of the several full-circle fisheyes I've tried, the 8mm f2.8
stopped down to f11) was the best. BTW, I'm still looking for the
non-reflex 6.2mm f5.6 Nikkor...
