I like Hoya and Nikkor filters, and I avoid Tiffen (the rims are too
thick, and the glass seems to acquire a spontaneous grunge [I have
never figured out the cause of this - maybe it is picked up from
the Tiffen filter case?]). I have no experience with B+W, but
they have a good reputation. I must admit that I am not yet
a believer in multicoating - and the danged multicoated
filters are very difficult to clean completely.
