As I recall, the VX2000 ND filters are 4X and 32X, useful
values of 2 stops and then 3 stops more - I cannot think
of a possible use for a one-stop ND filter (and the 1.5
stop ND effect of a polarizer can serve instead, if there
is one...;-). In video, shifts of one stop wider aperture
or one whole shutter speed slower have no conceivable
use - unless you can tell me one (the DOF difference would
be unnoticeable, the strobing effect or vertical-line
smear of the shutter would be changed negligibly by such
a minor ND value). A 5-stop filter can be useful, though,
with the high sensitivity of the VX2000, to keep the
shutter speed under 1/250th and the aperture in the middle
range in bright light...
