Most of these are intended to sell filters, and misrepresent
what the filter can do (most evident with the medium-yellow,
UV/Skylight, and light green filters - if you see a difference
in these examples [other than a slight pink color
added with the skylight compared with the no-filter color
reference image], the examples are exaggerated...). For B&W,
the polarizer and either red or orange are useful; for
color, the polarizer is useful (if not overused...); for
both, the UV/Skylight are useful, but for lens protection
only. The others are generally too subtle in effect to
bother with under most conditions...
