I could be wrong, but as I recall Sony filters
are renamed Tiffen, the "bottom of the heap"...
Try Hoya single-coated metal-rimmed version
filters - they are inexpensive, good, and easy
to clean. As for WA converters, Sony is a good
choice. You can often do better with particular
Raynox and Kenko converters, but it is a matter
of proper matching - the required trial-and-error
process needed to find the best matches is not
something most people want to do...
