Meter cells do not read strong colors accurately (or at least
satisfactorily...;-) In available-light work, the TTL-metered exposure
through yellow, orange, and red filters generally results in progressively
greater underexposure (toward red). So I, like you, am mystified by TTL
flash overexposure with these colored filters... Anyone have an answer?
