I keep my film in the freezer, and as things go, I find suddenly that
I have a need to use that film NOW. Placing the unopened film can in
a container of very warm water (up to a little short of the cap) for
a few minutes allows me to load the first roll almost immediately, and
by the time I need the next roll, it is warm enough to use. It does
not seem to be necessary to fully warm the film before using (unless
maybe you are in a very humid environment) - I have found no ill effect from doing what I do.
