The converters are "f2 maximum", so the camera meter will read
the f1.4 lens plus 1.4X as an f2.8 optic, rather than f2 (one stop
loss with the 1.4X), and exposures will be incorrect. You can
compensate the meter to read correctly (remember to remove the
compensation when you remove the converter).
