I'm not familiar with Optex, but I avoid Tiffen
when at all possible... The rims are poor-quality,
the glass is often uncoated, the filter is often
a "sandwich" (6 surfaces, instead of 2), and, worst,
they "self-fog"... Hoya single-coated appear to
be the best-for-money in US, but the selection
is limited compared with Tiffen and some others.
