If it physically does not turn as easily, it must be
offering mechanical resistance, not a good thing! If
this is in MF mode, this can be causing damage... If
you mean that the focus ring no longer has the same
effect on the image, this is normal - you have added
several times the range of the focus ring to the lens'
extension from the film, thus restricting the relative
effect of the focus ring on the lens focus...
