Used 4x5 Beselers are sturdy, the condenser system is convenient
to adjust for different film formats (and illumination is somewhat more
even than Omegas - and can be adapted to cold-light, if you must...),
and they are often reasonably cheap used - maybe $250-$500, depending
on condition and seller.
