-1) No.
-2) "Enhancing" is not the word I would use - the word is "distorting".
I occasionally like the effect, but "natural" it isn't. The filter can be useful in perking up a dullish evening photo, a fall scene in which
the colors are not at their peak and you want a bit of pizzazz at the risk of a bit of artificiality, or any other place where a little hype
may be desired. This filter and the polarizer are both too easy to spot
when they have been used to make photographs - the results look wrong
to me most of the time. The world is so full of wonderful things to
photograph as they are that I do not often feel the need to distort
images much beyond what is inevitable and pleasant in the photographic process.
