The book Nikon Data by Paul Comon ans Art Evans has most of the
information you are looking for. There are a couple of similar books
that would have this information also.

The last mfg dates for the cameras you listed: F = 1974, F2 = 1977, F2A
= 1980, F2S = 1976, F2AS = 1980, FM = 1984, FE = 1984.

The FE was replaced by FE2 in 1983 + FE2 discontinued 1989. The FM was
replaced by FM2 (1982 - 1988) and FM2 was replaced by FM2n in 1989,
still in production (I think).
