It is unlikely to help. You can run a little test,
though - try an operation on the computer you would
like to improve the speed of and time it (maybe a
render time in editing?). Then take out some of the
RAM you have, and run it again. If there is little
or no difference in the time, it is likely adding
RAM will also not much affect processing time...
