Try any large video dealer that carries Sony - it
is the DVMC-DA1, about $400...

If you will have the Sony DA1, there is no contest: Canopus
Raptor is easy to set up, render times are fast, timeline
playback is reliable, and with the Sony box it has full 720x480 full-motion monitor preview window, it allows
preview also on a TV, and it provides analogue input.
With Premiere 5.1 included, it will break the $1000
limit by a few hundred $'s though...
