In bright light the aperture is closing down more, providing
greater "depth of field" - enough to bring into focus a spot
of dust that is inside either very near the CCD or very near
the front element - or on the front of the front element
(it doesn't take a large "chunk' to show...). If not on
the front element, return the camera for exchange...
