The best in this regard was the original Nikon F, which would allow
any number of frames to be back wound and reexposed with excellent
registration (if you are into large moons double exposed into evening
landscapes, you can take 10 or so moons, then go back and fill in the landscapes [with different lenses] whenever it is convenient - handy!).
The FA, FE, FE-2, F3, 8008, and other Nikons allow frame-by-frame
multiple exposures, though.
