Grab the "double arrow" tool (hidden under the "lasso" tool,
absurdly...), click on the tracks on the timeline (all to the
right of the tool will highlight), slide them far enough
right to more than accomodate the new clip, drop in the clip
on the timeline, use the "double arrow" tool to close the
gap... Unfortunately in Premiere 5.X, any picture
renderings will stay in the old locations (dumb bug!) - go
to the preview files and delete the preview files for the
project before proceeding, or you will get some strange
effects at transitions, etc.
