Hmmm, IF we get the Buz running well, I will soon try just that, BUT
one can say without trying the above that since you are comparing a
lossless system (digital copying of digital material, without changes)
with a system that must involve losses, IN THEORY the analogue-captured
digital material must be at least different from the original (though
conceivably it could look the same, worse, or better...). So the
question remains unanswered, though I suspect that I will not forgo
FireWire in my future transfers...;-)
