Ah, I think you are too pessimistic - I have seen "information"
from Del's and others about the imminent demise of the Nikon
MF line for years, yet it continues strong and full. What is
happening is that all new lens designs are appearing as AF
lenses, but that still leaves a very large number of excellent
and desireable MF lenses which continue to be available to choose
from. Fear not (for now, at least!)!
