Hi--

I want to buy the PANASONIC MX300 camera. I have a question if I copy a
VHSC tape into a DV tape (via analog camera input) and then copy a DV
tape
into a VHSC tape (via analog camera output), how is the quality ? Is the
same ?
Thank you in advance

If you copy to DV from VHS, then from DV to VHS, it should be very
slightly
worse than making a direct copy from VHS to VHS (bad....;-). An
alternative
copy to DV, make changes (I find 10% sharpening to maintain quality [or
more,
if the original is poor], adjusting color balance [if needed],
increasing contrast slightly, and decreasing color saturation [if your
VHS machine tends
to boost it on copying]) does help, and the copy can be made with little
or no loss in quality compared with the original - and can even look
better...
