No, darn it, but I have been wondering the same thing...!
I have some of the new tape on the shelf, and I have been
afraid to try it...;-) I suspect that Sony at least tried hard
not to leave their tape users in the lurch (well, ah,
after their initial DV tape shortages, maybe I don't have
much faith in that concept...!;-). Anyone with experience
mixing new ("II" ) and old Sony tapes in the same Mini-DV
camcorder?
