There is no simple formula, since angles-of-view
for camcorders depend not only on imaging device size
and FL (true for still cameras), but also on the
actual area of the CCD used for video (hard to establish,
and not consistent across models). A "rule of thumb"
is that the shortest zoom position is about equal in
view angle to a 43-48mm lens in 35mm for consumer
camcorders, but yours is a different situation. You
could see if you can find out the actual dimensions
of the used CCD area, and with a little simple trig.,
relate that to the 7.3mm minimum FL of your zoom,
giving you the angles that can then be compared with
those of 35mm lenses. Easier is to actually compare
the camera's angle of view at the zoom minimum FL
with the view of a 35mm camera at the same position
with various lenses tried on it (to see which is the
best match...).
