You can find these listed in my Nikkor evaluation list on my web page,
under "I babble" - with additiona comments. If you will be using the
lens primarily in MF mode, MF ease is important, sharpness is
important, 1/2X is good enough, physical size is important, and
the price difference is not important, the choice is easy: the MF
105mm f2.8... (I was not impressed with the f4's sharpness, the AF
is too difficult to MF focus near infinity [and some showed optical
alignment problems near infinity focus], and it is more bulky and
not so nicely finished...)
