The top contenders for non-shoulder-mount
Mini-DV/DVCam (by reputation and some frame-grab
comparisons) appear currently to be the Sony
VX2000/PD150, Sony TRV950/PDX10 (good light only
for this one), Canon GL2, Panasonic AG-DVX100,
and JVC-300. Of these, only the VX2000/PD150
has much "history" and much specific info on
it. It has proven to be an excellent camera.
The others may offer specific features that
may lean the choice in their favor, though...
(the Panasonic, for instance, has some very
nice picture-control options). For a review
