This is often true, but not necessarily...
The PC101 has about 1 megapixels; the PC120 about 1.5...
Since I have not compared these directly, I cannot
tell you which has the better picture - but a quick look
at the TRV740 (similar CCD to the PC101-TRV25/7?) left me
impressed. Sony seems generally to get ever better
performance out of CCDs with later versions, regardless
of specs - and the PC101 is more recent than the PC120...
