Hmmm, I agree with all the answers I've seen so far
(except the ones choosing a wide-range zoom, since
I prefer image quality over convenience [and I don't
consider zooms convenient to use...;-]), and I have
few other ideas, so here is a list of possibilities
that would do for me, for that desert island...
(assuming free film and processing...;-):

- Nikon F3T with 16mm f3.5 fisheye, or 20mm f2.8, or
28mm f4 PC, or 35mm f2.8 PC
- Rollei 35 (match-needle version) with the f3.5
Xenar/Tessar (which I prefer to the Sonnar...)
- Fuji GS645
- Rollei 3.5F, with prism (and light-weight tripod)
- Nagaoka super-light 4x5 field view, with 135mm f5.6
or 90mm f8, or 200mm f8 Nikkor (and medium-weight
tripod)
Well, actually, these days, I would prefer a mini-DV
3-chip Sony VX-1000 or TRV-900.... (it can record
sights AND sounds AND motion...! ;-) I would need a
good TV, and power too, though...;-)
